I should have known that Snape would react badly to Harry's help. He is, after all, our beloved dungeon bat and snarky git who hates to look weak. His reaction after viewing the memory though sounds like a real change in their relationship. I hope there will be an epilogue because it sounds like their is more to write about.
This was a nice, well-conceived plot. I like the way it all came together. Very believable. It will be interesting to see what Severus has to say when he wakes up.
Loved the last line. Thanks for keeping Snape in character! I am glad that Harry was able to finally get through to the man. Good job and thanks for sharing the story!

Good first part, lots going on to set things up. I can't believe you'll be able to round it off in 2 though, unless you've got a really nice long chapter planned!
I love it so far! Harry did a great job helping Snape - let's hope it breaks the ice and allows Snape to see the truth. I wonder if Vernon did anything more than threaten Harry... from the situation Snape walked in on, it seems so!
