I LOVE this story! It's quite wonderful to see Vernon as a nurturer and champion FOR Harry! Such a unique story! I'd love to see a sequel to this!

I totally loved this! I have never read a fic yet that hasn't involved Vernon abusing Harry in some way,shape or form and I come across this nugget! I was a little disturbed at how nice he was to Harry but then afterwards I thought that it made a refreshing change.The brief interaction between Harry and Snape was charming :)

This is such a good start to a story, I would love to see you make it a much longer story :)
I also love that is it Petunia that is abusive not Vernon because even in real life when abuse is brought up most people automatically assume it is the father when actually women can be just as abusive.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review, as it happens I got the idea from doing psychology when we were covering male and female child rearing styles. Glad you liked the story.

Author's Response: I will be doing a sequel later in the year but at the moment my focus is on another story on this site and one on FF.net along with doing my second year at college but I promise to come back to this

Very interesting, but I was shocked at a nice Vernon. You should definitely do a sequel.

That...was very interesting. I very much like the idea of Petunia being the abuser and Vernon having no idea about it. I do hope you write a sequel soon. I wish it was more drawn out, but that's okay.
Author's Response: The sequel will be multi-chaptered and will more than likely cover from the point where Harry and Severus are in Strange Situations to when harry goes to hogwarts we however have not seen the last of Petunia.
