Author's Response: Oh, he hasn't even begun recovering yet, this is still Self Preservation Mode with a little bit of hope thrown in. He's not going to let himself breakdown just yet.
What a cool plan of theirs quarters. Maybe you could add a door from the lab to the bathroom - for cases of brewing accident :) Because if Snape ever lets Harry brew, there will be some explosion or two ;)
