This story hooked me, drew me in, kept me reading, and made me sad and happy at the same time.
Well done.
This was absolutely amazing, thank you very very much!
Thank you for your realistic, honest story. Suspenseful and unexpected.
I loved the theme of Eileen insisting on leaving Tobias to follow through with his word, and how that gave an explanation for the broken handle we've always wondered about!
Liked how Tobias called Severus 'Rus!
Good ending. As bad as Tobias was physically, it was probably just a matter of time till he died on his own. I like the idea of Snape and Harry becoming friends.
Brilliant. I couldn't stop half way to review the first chapter. Sad. Funny. Realistic. I always like how you write an adult Snape and Harry as overall fairly equal, and the authentic scene details you dropped in took me right back in time. I loved how you wrote Tobias as a real, if flawed, character not a caricature, while the gradual breakdown of his and Severus' relationship was well done. Add an original idea and it's a definite 10 rating.
Amazinggggg! :) :) Well worth the wait for this, it was so good! Although, I do wish we could have seen a bit more of Severus after he was awakened from his memories - hoping you'll write another story with Harry as a student and Severus as his mentor (like your definition series) soon, *hint, hint* ;)
Beautiful, beautiful story. This is the first characterization I have ever read of Tobias Snape where I had to stop a minute and think, "Wow, he really got it." I commend you. :)
That was really good. You could seriously feel Severus' pain, and understand why he did what he did. It was very realistic. You also portrayed the bullying very well in school. That part of Severus past I understand all to well. Thank you so much for such a riveting story.
