That sounds really interesting! My sister has this disorder and when she was little her teachers tried to force her to go to a school for children with a learning disability but my parents were against it. I wonder if occlumency works for Harry - my sister had autogenous training and it helped her a lot and I think occlumency is similar...
Author's Response: They tried to do the same thing with my little brother. He's quite intelligent, when he focuses on something he nearly never forgets. I'm using occlumency slightly differently than Rowling intended, I think. Snape's going to use it to teach Harry how to order his mind, how to focus on what he's supposed to without getting sidetracked. Meditation will probably come into play too, to help him sleep or just relax if he gets too hyper. Thanks for reviewing :)
