Great attention to detail thinking of Teddy!
I don't know what direction your story is heading towards so it's hard to say whether Harry should adopt Teddy. If he is going to stay with Severus, it seems an imposition on him to bring both himself and a small child into Severus' home. Maybe Teddy could come visit?

Awww...wonder why Luna hasn't been to see either one of them too now that you mention it. Poor boys...really hope they can get out of there soon, and escape to another country. They really do need each other - and I am not sure if Harry should adopt Teddy, but I can see him doing it all the same.
I could also see Snape being a research chemist calling others dunderheads...lol wonder how that would go over his co-workers?? LOLOL

I think it would be reasonable for Harry to adopt Teddy because firstly, Harry's deepest desire is for a loving family and Snape and Teddy would make him happy if they were part of it. Also, Harry's been in the same situation as Teddy so it would be natural for someone as compassionate as Harry to adopt.
I think he is responsable enough to raise Teddy. But, I don't know if andromedia will want Harry to raise him. Maybe a shared guardianship. Teddy will stay with Andy and can have frequent visits from Harry and then you can have something happen to Andromedia and since Harry has legal rights to Teddy he will take him in. Maybe when Teddy is three or something a little older so not in nappies anymore but still young enough to not be too upset and depessed with his grandmothers death. Also that wll make harry older and probably out of University and have a job that can support him and Teddy.
I am thinking it might be better for his grandmother to adopt hi, but still leave Harry as godfather just in case. You still have that fear which can show up in odd ways.
Really good story.
Harry is too young to raise a child and besides, why would Andromeda allow her only grandson to be taken away from her.
She just lost her husband and her daughter - it would be cruel to take Teddy away.
