Very well written and tense thank you
Author's Response: And the plot is just beginning to thicken... Thanks for reviewing!
Oh poor Harry! I hope Snape finds him soon. Excellent chapter! :D
Author's Response: Don't worry-- Snape is very good at tracking! And boy, is Harry going to be in for a surprise...! Thanks for reviewing this chapter, too! :-D
Better late than never, Snape! Winter lace? Lovely analogy. I'd never thought of it like that, although I always wish I could paint when I see dark branches silhouetted against a spectacular sunset.
Author's Response: I know exactly how you feel! I wish I had artistic ability, but I can't draw or paint or sing or play musical instruments well at all. My mother could do EVERYTHING, but I got gypped on every type of talent except writing. (And HA! My mother couldn't spell worth a hoot!) Yes, I've often wished I could paint winter lace against vibrant colors! Thanks for reviewing this chapter, too! :-D
Way to go, Snape! I'm glad that his consciousness finally worked him over enough to make him go back for Harry. Fantastic chapter!
Author's Response: I kinda think Snape finds it easier to swallow his pride with a sip or two of Firewhiskey... But better late than never, when it comes to rescuing Harry, hmm? Thanks for another review!
Good chapter. I liked the way you contrast the quiet winter sunset and the joyful Christmas holiday against the hatred and violence of Harry's situation at the Dursley's. Having the odious Marge there was a nice touch.
Author's Response: Harry needs a sense of peace in his life, and the beauty of nature is one thing he can always count on to soothe his soul. As for Marge-- if there's one thing that can make Christmas with the Dursleys even WORSE, it's her! Thanks for another review!
Thank God that Snape went back for Harry. Hopefully he wont' have to go back.
Author's Response: This turned into a kind of (Snape's) Pride vs. Potter situation, but Snape finally got over himself and did what he should've done in the first place. As for going back... If it's Dumbledore's decision, who knows... But thanks again for another review! ;-)
