    /cries a lot

This story was amazing, and more than I could have asked for in a Severitus fic.

Author's Response: Haha, well, so much for trying - have a tissue *holds out tissue box*. Thank you so much for your reviews, and I am very glad you enjoyed it. Cheers!

Harry calling Snape daddy absolutely KILLED me. I'm so glad you put that in there. This chapter made me laugh, cry, and experience every other emotion on the spectrum of emotions. THANK YOU FOR THIS STORY. I'm so glad I got back into reading Severitus fics after so many years.

Author's Response: Yeah, that line slayed me too, but for different reasons; I didn't meant to type it! I swear!! It just came out, as I said in the end notes. So I'm glad you lovd it. Excellent to hear that you felt such a range of emotions with this chapter. That's my ultimate goal in any sort of writing is to give it emotional dept. you are so very welcome for the story, and thank you for the reviews. They're icing on the cake! Cheers!

I just love Snape and Hermione's blossoming friendship in this. Adding her to Bell Point really brings out a different perspective to this story, just like you said in your chapter end notes. I can't imagine how much longer it would have taken for Snape to open up to Harry if it wasn't for her. She does have a knack at knocking some sense into people. Great job!

Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review! Great to know you are liking Hermione's role. She just felt so right as an addition to this story, and like you said, Snape kind of needs that outside perspective to truly begin to grow closer to Harry. I loved writing scenes with Hermione and Severus, so thanks for the kind words! :)

I love this story soooo much and it's hard to believe I'm already close to the end. /sighs
I guess all good things must come to an end, but this story will most certainly be the death of me.

Author's Response: Hi Katie! Great to hear you're loving it! It absolutely makes my day when people review past stories. Thanks for dropping a line, and I hope you keep enjoying it. Do try not to die ... I'd rather avoid getting blood on my hands, eek! ;)

I've read this story several times, and I keep forgetting to review. I just want to say that this is literally one one of the best written Harry Potter stories I've ever read. Everyone is perfectly in character. It's just so intriguing to me. Everything is very accurate. It's just... Amazing. I love this story. :) Great job.

Author's Response: Thank you so much, Clover! I am so glad you remembered to review. Wow - I can hardly think of what to say to such high praise. I am glad you love Prisoners so much to rank it so highly among other stories! To hear that a story has made it into the favourites list for any reader is the most amazing thing an author can hear. Thanks so much for your review!

I literally found this story today, and I fell in love with it. I couldn't tear my eyes away. There were so many touching moments, and adorable ones, and plain out hysterical, such as poor Severus' rambling when he wanted Hermione to stay with him.

I found it ironic that Severus did end up teaching arithmancy - I remember him making something like that up the first Hermione's aunt visited.

Author's Response: Hello Artizay!  Thanks so much for the review!  I am so pleased to hear you fell in love with Prisoners,  because I very much loved writing it. Great to hear you enjoyed the funny parts. As for Severus teaching Arithmancy,  I thought it was fitting. That and I needed to establish that Severus was good at it!  ;)  thanks for sharing your thoughts - they're always appreciated.
