I am so glad this chapter showed caring and compassion between Harry and Sev. I look forward to Hermione coming to stay with them (I am sorry about her parents though)...and I look forward to the day when Sev finds out the truth about Harrys family. Great chapter.

Author's Response: I am glad you are liking the dynamic between Harry and Severus as they warm up to each other a little, and that you are looking forward to Hermione's stay. Thanks so much for reviewing!

    Oh, poor Hermione!

I feel so bad for her. How horrible. I can't believe it. These three will make an odd group, but with more in common than they realise.

Great chapter as usual. I am looking forward to the next one.

Author's Response: Yes, it is a rather odd group - you are quite right on that! Thanks for the review Pandora, and I am glad that you are liking it!

This is a good place for Harry and Severus to recuperate and get to know each other. As Snape said, they aren't so different. The complete change of scene should be good for Hermione, too.

Author's Response: Thanks for the feedback bridgeportfox!

SO CUTE! I love it! I like how Severus and harry are starting to be frendly. I can see a little harry trying to lit a fire and severus watch over him. It's sad that harry hurt severus' feelings i hope it will be okay

Author's Response: Severus is a big boy. I think he'll be fine. ;) Nice to know you are enjoying the cute factor!

ahh huh Severus is starting to see Harry as Harry and not James. Only took 5 years and de-ageing to see the real Harry.

I think it will be good for everyone when Hermione comes to stay. Yes it will be hard on everyone for the first week or so but after she recovers she will be able to help. Whether it is with Harry getting over Sirius or just Harry period with him bing 4. She may be able to help Severus with little things when he can't or whatnot but behind his back. The proud man he is.

Author's Response: Thanks for your review! Yes, it has taken Snape a long time to start to see the real Harry. Of course, he's still got a little ways to go! Glad you think it will be good to have Hermione stay.

Author's Response: And more you shall get ... next week. Hope the wait isn't too painful. Thanks for reviewing cara-tanaka!

How could I not like such a beautiful chapter. I just love how Snape and Harry's understanding of each other continues to gradually grow, largely due to Snape's compassionate side coming out (and feeling natural too!), while it was good that somebody dealt with Dumbledore properly on Harry's behalf.
It looks as if Snape will be working quite hard this summer, with both Harry and Hermione to help.

Author's Response: Wow, thanks rosina! I am glad that Snape's actions seem natural, and that you are enjoying the slow realizations that Snape and Harry are going through.

*sigh happily* I know, not the most appropriate reaction after reading that poor Hermione's parent's died but I won't ever stop being amazed at how you manage to write all those cute scenes!
It's not only that, it's the fact that it's never too much, never out of character... well, what you write feels simply right. Err, sorry for rambling.
The whole comforting scene from Snape scolding Dumbledore onwards was simply amazing. I liked the part especially where Severus fetched Harry from outside because he managed to without actually taking him. Just by the sound of his voice and his words. The fire lighting was brilliant, too, a good idea at how to take the shock from them... Oh and then falling asleep together.
I realise I'm still rambling but there are so many impressions right now.
To make it short: I greatly enjoyed the chapter!! Have a nice week, your Melfis.

Author's Response: Haha, I love when reviewers ramble a little! Often in rambling I get to hear what people like and don't like. I am very glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for your review!

Totally in love with this story. Your writing style and characterisation is superb. Really enjoying the little insights to Snapes childhood you are giving and how you can link it up with his own actions as a character. Really engaging story and I cant wait until you update :)

Author's Response: Hi Silver_Snake! Thank you so much for the review! I am particularly glad you are enjoying the little bits about Snape's childhood. I really love delving into his past. He is such a complicated man, and very conflicted, so it is naturally very interesting to imagine why he is the way he is. Cheers!

Well done to Severus - he seems to be making definite progress on all fronts. Harry, maybe, just a little. The obvious assumption from the ending is that something will mean that Hermione ends up at Bell Point. That will certainly change the dynamics and it'll be interesting to see where you go with it.

Author's Response: Thanks so much for the feedback, rosina! It is nice to hear what your impression is on this story. And yes, that is the obvious assumption, isn't it?
