Excellent opening scenario. I like Severus' thoughts - the revenge that he plans to set upon Albus once he's performed his task. This is a very enjoyable read.

Poor Severus! The one good thing for him probably is that you hadn't him in Neville's body during a Potions class. Now that would have hurt his feelings, to purposely melt some cauldrons. But then, who would have taught that class...

Very nice! You captured Snape's snarkiness very well! This could be expanded into a larger/longer story.
