Reviews For The Trouble with Harry
You left Severus's mother alive but without magic. Interesting turn of events. She may say show off and what not but you can tell she is proud of Sev. Author's Response: Thanks for the kind words. Yes, Eileen is proud of Severus, but she won't ever let him get too big for his britches.
I liked how Snape reverts back to his Northern dialect when he's at home with his mother, and I especially enjoyed the mental picture of him at a Tesco's. I'm sure he'd be all scowls with all the families out doing their shopping. But anyway, I'm looking forward to more. The first chapter is a great start. Author's Response: You know me and my Northern Snape. Note, too, that he is doing HOME REPAIRS. I love my men handy. Thanks for the kind words, LZ.
Author's Response: I thought long and hard about the way Harry would end up with Snape, and this was the best scenario I could come up with. I'm glad you think it's plausible. Yes, Severus is having problems, and they will be a bigger part of the story. Thanks for the feedback and for reading.
~Missy Author's Response: Thanks so much! I really am excited about this story. I'm working on chapter 2 right now. I've always wanted to explore Severus' relationship with his mother. I'm sure she's the reason he's so snarky, at least if I can tell by how she's making me write her now.
Author's Response: Thanks! Severus will get on with the letter in the next chapter. |
