An intriguing concept, to be sure!
And of course, I really really don't trust the Dursleys to remain all nice and calm.
It was nice to see Dudley acting a bit like a normal boy, I hope he's not beyond redemption in this story.
I do hope you make this all angsty and lovely like your other stories!

Like the start, nothing wrong with a bit of fluff! I'm glad you decided to write a story for this challenge; I thought it looked interesting when I saw it.It's nice to see my favourite Harry/Ginny pairing as there don't seem to be that many of those on this site, and I thought the Harry/Dursleys interaction was just right. Not overly friendly, or too unpleasant, but I daresay Vernon is Up To Something.
While it doesn't bother me as it adds to the interest, I just wonder if the little tweaks you've made mean it should be AU rather than Canon? Anyway, looking forward to more and the appearance of Snape.
Hmmm ... interesting kickoff. I like your explanation of why the Dursleys would come. I see you've taken some liberties with the canon plot, but I don't really mind. I have taught myself to expect GoF fanfics to be really different from canon because it is my favorite book and otherwise I'd nitpick! Although, on the subject of nitpicking (Sorry, hehe, told myself I wouldn't do that) I don't know if this was intentional, but didn't Harry fight the Hungarian Horntail, rather than the Fireball? Forgive me if I am wrong but it just didn't seem to be an intentional change, like having Luna appear and whatnot. ;) Anyway, fun chapter.
The Dursleys seem a little frighteningly tame, and that will certainly add to the grandeur of the eventual disaster that they are bound to create! Oh, and I liked Dudley's enthusiasm. Slightly frightened, but in awe. Enough rambling ... looking forward to next chapter!

That was really good and I am surprised that the Dursley's exspecially Dudley liked the school as much as they did. I am sure they are being nice for the money well Petunia and Vernon but I really think Dudley is very interested and enjoying himself. I can't wait for more. Nicely written piece
I suppose the Dursleys felt that the visit to Hogwarts was a win win situation for them. Either Harry wins (gold!) or he could get injured (an injury they can't be blamed for!). Their reactions to Hogwarts has been interesting. I'm sure that Petunia is horrified at Dudley's enthusiasm for all the cool magical things he has seen. Looking forward to what comes next.
