This came across as very realistic to me. Also, I'm amused by Minerva's "The only others we've evacuated so far are the Slytherins and that's because Severus rescued them himself."
Heh! "we" indeed! Severus knows that he's the only one who does anything for the Slytherins, and if he didn't see them rescued, no one would. (Shades of DH2 movie comes to mind - locking Slytherins in the dungeons so they can't participate in the battle.)
Also, I'm not really surprised that the students can't immediately lay their hands on their wands after the massive shaking. They're still learning, and don't have “constant vigilance” on the mind yet, as it's early in the war for them.
In case you can't tell, I'm enjoying this story very much!
Aw, you just had to leave it at a cliffhanger!

No a cliffhanger! I guess I will just have to wait and see what happened to Harry!
Great story - each chapter has left me itching for more; all the short scenes from different POVs adding to the tension.
great chapter, liked the cliffhanger, look forward to the next update.

They found Harry! Is he dead. OMG hes dead isn't he. He can't be dead (hyperventilates) jk at least they found him but it doesn't sound good if Snape is saying bloody hell
At least they finally found Harry. It sounds like he is in bad shape though. I enjoyed the comment by Seamus about never thinking he would be happy to see Snape. And Snape's retort.
