The last sentence was ominous. It sounds like Snape may be in for a rough time until Harry finally realizes that revenge isn't as satisfying as he hopes. I am kind of surprised that Snape was so unpleasant to Harry when he knew Harry could end up as his master. He seems too Slytherin to burn his bridges that way.

Very interesting story so far, I'm enjoying it very much.
One thing you might want to change "and that didn't bid well" should be "and that didn't bode well."
