But when I began to wonder what Voldemort would do if he looked into it... Oh YES! Now I had a genuine horror story to play with! Thank you for reading and reviewing! :-)

Very inventive way of getting rid of Voldemort - for a bit anyway. Did some small part of him recognise that his soul is damned? I've been looking forward to your Halloween story and it didn't disappoint. I loved the plot, loved the descriptive bits, and loved the way you wrote the characters.
Author's Response: When I first got the inspiration for the mirror, I'd just focused on Harry seeing Lily. But then my mind went off on a weird tangent-- if eyes are the windows to the soul, what would Voldemort see if he looked at the tiny fragment of soul which is all he has left after making all the Horcruxes? Oh boy! Now I had the basis for a creepy chapter for a Halloween story! I really don't know if V comprehended the meaning of the fire, but I doubt it would change his basic character if he did. As long as he's already damned... he'd rise again. Probably be doubly grateful for the Horcruxes!!! Glad you enjoyed it, and many thanks for the reviews! Happy Halloween! :-)
That mirror is getting a bit creepy now, but at least Harry has some real memories of his Mum. Onward to see what havoc Draco has made possible.
Author's Response: I had fun writing Lily! I honestly hated to have the mirror stop showing her, but since it came from Knockturn Alley, you have to believe it's not 100% innocuous! And then there's Draco, indeed... Definitely, our Harry is headed for t-r-o-u-b-l-e!

Wonderfully intriguing opening chapter. I love your mix of the magical, and the mundane - you even make pimples and buttons add interest to the story. The Snape and Harry interaction made me smile - I'm still not quite sure who came off best!
Author's Response: Pimples and buttons! That's the first time I'd seen those two together, when I read your comment! I'd never even made the mundane connection in my own mind! As for Snape... hmm... He certainly found Harry rather equal to the confrontation-- until he cast the tracking charm! (Nostril-- ha! Borrowed from Sherlock, in Chinese code episode; the word nostril popped onto the screen and I laughed aloud... Just HAD to use it! Not to mention, I think Snape didn't want to say "nose", for rather obvious reasons. Hee!) Thanks for the review!
