That's great. I really like this storyline. I'm intrigued to see what happens next. Will you continue it?

Author's Response: I definitely want to finish this story, but my writing stubbed its toe when I lost my writing pad with the following chapter... (Yes, the entire story was handwritten to this point, & only part of the next chap had been typed.) I should've immediately rewritten the chapter, but I kept looking for the missing pad... I haven't given up! On writing, that is. (The pad has gone down as a mystery that even Sherlock could never solve!) But I definitely want to finish the story, and this experience has convinced me to always FINISH the story BEFORE I post it. Thanks for reading and reviewing, and please keep your fingers crossed for me!

    Please write more!!!

Author's Response: I WANT to, believe me! But I've misplaced my writing pad with the next chapter on it. I'd only typed up half of the chapter, planning to type up the rest of it, and then real life jumped into the picture, and the next thing I knew, I was left with half of a chapter, and I can't really reconstruct the part that's missing. I know how the next chapter beyond the lost one will begin, but I've GOTTA find the missing chapter before I can do any more. Sigh. GOTTA DIG through an enormous pile of stuff where I put things I don't want to lose. Oh, yeah... I've already skimmed through the top layers and couldn't find the pad, so I have to undertake major archaeology. Where's Indiana Jones when I need him???! But many thanks for reading and reviewing, and when I find that writing pad, I'll definitely post more!

Awwwwww! I hope you'll finish the story. I'm not a Sherlock fan but I got into it by the last few chapters! Loved it.

Author's Response: Yes, I intend to finish the story! My life went all crazy-wild since I posted this, and I haven't been able to write much of anything for months on end, but I definitely haven't given up! (I'd never wanted to post an unfinished story, but I was racing the third season broadcast last winter, so I put up this much, hoping to get more written, but I'm not at the point where I can post more right now.) Many, many thanks for reading and reviewing as much as you have! (My thumbnails are trying to keep up with your pace! -- I'm writing my responses on my cell phone!)

    Another great ending thank you

Author's Response: It might seem weird to break this scene into chapter segments, but it seems to work out better than writing one lonnnnnggggg scene! And what will happen when Sherlock waves the wand??? Many thanks for taking the time to post a review for each chapter! Much appreciated! :-)

Another greT ending thank you you have caught all the characters so well

Author's Response: Thanks for the compliment! I am really trying to keep all of the characters in character throughout. It's a bit easier with Sherlock and John (except for the fact that they're a bit out of their depth in the Wizarding world) because they are contemporary characters. The Potter cast is a bit of a stretch, since they've aged 15 years since Voldemort's defeat. I have to believe their basic personalities would stay the same, but putting them into their adult roles (in their early 30's) takes some serious consideration at times! Thanks for the review!

Very good especially the scene with Lily can we have more of the children?

Author's Response: I'm planning to highlight each of the children in turn! The story is still in the opening phase; I hope to include family scenes to take the edge off the bigger mysteries from time to time. Thanks for reviewing, and glad you enjoyed Lily! She's fun to play with!

Love "Merlin's hangnails" a great change from Merlin's pants! Thank you a well constructed chapter

Author's Response: Hee! I came up with "Merlin's hangnails!" a couple of years ago and have actually used it in several stories! It seems such a "Snape-ish" saying, and a far cry from the more typical "Merlin's beard!" epithet. None of my other characters will ever use it-- just Snape! Thanks for the review! :-)

Wow. Whirlwind of fun. I have to wonder why Lucius is doing this... For the sick, twisted "fun" of it? Sheer madness? Or is there some deeper. Darker purpose? I know, I know... We'll find out when the time comes.

Author's Response: Who knows what secrets lurk in the pickled brain of one of Voldemort's Darkest followers... And you're absolutely right-- gotta wait for the "right" time to find out the answers! Hee! Glad you're enjoying the story, and many thanks for taking the time to leave a review! :-)
