Ooh another cliffhanger! I feel happy for John and Sherlock, they finally know what's going on haha! This is very exciting and I can't wait to see what happens with Harry's wand...
Hermione was funny taking away the sandwiches and I loved them saying how their Hogwarts letters were addressed :) Awesome chapter shadow!!

Author's Response: Thanks! I finished handwriting the next chapter this evening, but I still need to type/revise/edit, and horrible weather is coming, so I have no idea when I'll be able to get to the library next... I wish I had 4-wheel-drive, but that's NOT happening! *sigh* But Sherlock and John's adventures in the Wizarding world are nowhere near over! Yes, Hermione SO thwarted Ron's hopes for more food -- he's obviously never stopped eating! And I had fun coming up with all the fanciful addresses for the Hogwarts letters! I got hit by a new idea as I was writing this evening-- hope it works out! (All the stuff I consciously plan is fine, but I've learned to GO with the wild things that hit me out of the blue-- they're better than any of my long-laid plans! Let's hope this one doesn't turn out to be an exception! Hee!) Thanks for reviewing! :-)

I'm loving this :D the dialogue, mannerisms, everything! It feels like it could be real! Haha poor John the Muggle, that did make me laugh :D

Author's Response: Wowwwwww!!! What a tremendous compliment! "It feels like it could be real!" That's one of the nicest things anyone has ever said about my writing! I do work at it, but unless someone tells me so, I'm always wondering if it's coming across as well as I hoped it would! So thank you VERY much for letting me know! ... btw, John will have further adventures in the Magical world! Hee!

Haha that was excellent! I thoroughly enjoyed that, the "big reveal" of the magical world was awesome! Great work as always and now I'm off to read the next chapter :D

Author's Response: The "big reveal"-- ha! Honestly, this was my fave chapter to write thus far, and I had such FUN with John and Sherlock! And of course, one of these days, they WILL get around that mysterious corner in the Leaky Cauldron! Many thanks for the review! Glad you're having such fun reading it!

what an excellent story, loving the crossover, you have done it well. Also a little murder mystery thrown in for good measure. Cant wait for the next instalment!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! When I began writing this, I'd never read any crossovers, and I just went on gut instinct, hoping things would work out okay! I'm such a fan of both series that it wasn't as difficult as I'd worried about to blend HP with Sherlock. Lots more to come, but I'll need to write it first! Thank you so much for reading and reviewing, and I'm thrilled you're enjoying the story! :-)

Mini cliffhanger? I like the way the two groups are interacting easily; it looks as if Harry and Sherlock could make an excellent team for solving their cases. Hermione was a bit mean - she could at least have left the salad plate for Ron to finish off!

Author's Response: The cliffie might take a while to resolve-- I've posted most of what I had written in July/August; gotta get back into writing mode to continue the story now! But the positive reviews have really pyched me up! Ron is a trip-- Hermione is TRYING to keep Ron on a healthy track (apple in an early chap, then the banana... like, he can eat all the fresh produce he wants!), but Ron is so willing to try to pull a fast one if he thinks he can get by with it! As for the veggies (sandwich components, actually)-- I guess she figured he'd ingested plenty already! Then there's Sherlock... Right now, he's more than a bit out of his element, so he's still absorbing information, and willing to listen to his new magical acquaintances. But his true personality is extremely controlling, and he may end up butting heads with Harry and company at some future point. Of course, without full magic, he could find himself at a serious disadvantage... Hee! Thank you so much for all your reviews! :-)

Good descriptions of the surroundings, and you made all the background explanations and introductions interesting. So, Sherlock was born in 1987. looks like Dumbledore did do the tampering.

Author's Response: Whew! Thanks for the compliment ("interesting"); I know that John and Sherlock are getting hit with major information overload, and I was hoping that Potter readers (who already know all this) wouldn't be bored with the detailed recap! And yes-- Dumbledore is looking more suspect all the time... Thanks for reviewing, and I'm glad you're enjoying the story!

Oh lord - a 10 is not enough for this! Ron and the banana was perfect LOL comedy, and I was still smiling at the is/isn't exchange between Sherlock and John outside the Leaky. Then Tom gets in on the act too! Nice to see that his customers are still in awe of Harry Potter after all these years.

Author's Response: Thank you thank you thank you!!! This is my fave chapter so far -- I worked really hard to get everything coordinated so all the different facets would fall into place. Yes! Ron and the banana! Also, I've tried to keep Sherlock and John competely in character as presented in the TV series, and their fast back-and-forth dialogues are a major part of that-- I've adapted my writing style to accommodate the duo! As for Tom-- ha!-- couldn't resist his leering comment! He's known Harry since he was 11! And yes, of course! The Wizarding world still admires the Boy-Who-Lived for his ultimate defeat of Voldemort! Thanks for the awsome review! :-D

Cool! I loved the auror scene

Author's Response: It's a bit of a stretch to imagine Harry at 33, working as an experienced Auror, but the plot needs to give fair time to both Muggle & Wizarding crime investigations! Thanks for the review!

    Çool the plot thickens!

Author's Response: As thick as molasses in January! Hee! But the two factions have finally met face to face, and now they'll settle down to get better acquainted. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Hehe I love this and lol I've wondered why they carried keys as well

Author's Response: I decided the Muggles would ask the obvious question -- why keys? -- so I went ahead and answered it, incorporating a bit of humor in the process. Since Hermione is Muggle-born, I figured she'd be the obvious person to pose the question, since she knows full well that Wizards don't "need" keys! Thanks for the review! :-)
