Awesomely done! Hmmm that last sentence sounds sweeeeeeeeeet

Author's Response: Hahaahaaaa! Well, you'll have to wait a bit for the next update-- I know what happens, but I don't have it all written yet! Thanks so much for reading and leaving all the reviews! :-D

Oh no - I want more. I want to know who's been doing what, is Dumbledore guilty, will Snape meet Sherlock.... Great scene in the library - I can still see the ostrich now!

Author's Response: I had SUCH fun with that ostrich! And yes, Snape will eventually meet Sherlock, but other stuff has to happen first! Gotta whip the next couple of chapters into shape-- FAST! The third season of Sherlock premieres on PBS this coming Sunday in the US! I'd like to get those chaps up first, but the weather is freaking out, snow/wintry mix predicted next couple of days. Hope I can make it to the library SOON! (The chaps are already typed & living on my flash drive, but I need to do final revise/edit, and I hope I do a better job than I did on 3&4-- egad! I always find stuff I missed AFTER Wands posts it for me, and since I'm not the one who uploads the chaps, I can't access them after they're online. I'd dearly love to correct stuff, if I could. *sigh* But at least my story is out there! :-D ) Thanks for reading/reviewing! So glad you're liking it!

Sloppy, Harry! But who'd have thought he'd be good at inventing new charms - must be his mothers genes coming out. I really like what you're doing with the characters I recognise. You nailed Ron in a couple of sentences, and I totally agree with Snape about screen/hard copy reading. Little Lily was funny, innocent and full on - watch out when she grows up Harry. Sadly my lunch break is over and work beckons so I'll have to wait to read the next chapter.

Author's Response: I'm envisioning Harry as having completed his 7th Year at Hogwarts, finally being able to buckle down and really STUDY after he no longer has to worry about Voldemort every waking minute of his life. After graduation, Harry went into the Auror Training Program, and as an adult (he's now 33), he has excelled at Charms, not just Defense and Quidditch! // Yeah, computer screens make my eyes ache, so I can empathise with Snape! And little Lily is quite the handful, that's for sure! Thanks for reviewing-- on your lunch break, no less! Wow! I'm flattered!!!

Ah cliffhanger! But oh the ostrich! Haha Flitwick is quite the cheeky headmaster! Great chapter I look forward to more :D

Author's Response: Hahahaaaa! You would NOT believe how long I've been waiting to post that cliffhanger! (I began writing the story around the beginning of July, & I think I did the cliffie in August!) And I can't wait to get the next chapter up so you can see how it all HAPPENED! As for the ostrich... For some reason, I've been obsessed with using an ostrich in conjunction with a charm for the past few years. No time like the present! And those buttons were made to order! Gotta love Flitwick-- he was sadly underused in canon, so I like to give him some good scenes! Thanks for reading and reviewing! :-)

Awesome chapter, it was great to see some detective work going on! Have the murders got something to do with Lucius I wonder... The bit with Lily was really sweet too :)

Author's Response: Lily-- hee! I'm hoping to give each child a solo from time to time-- I think that will help highlight their individual personalities! You'll have to keep wondering about Lucius, I'm afraid... ;-D As for the detective work-- this is so much harder to write than it is to read! What was I THINKING of??! But I vow to do my best! I've got to start somewhere, right? *giggles* Thanks for reviewing this chapter! Glad you liked it!

HAHAHA! goodness me I laughed so hard at the end of this :D it was Skeeter Independent that did it! That's genius! I thoroughly enjoyed this chapter, well done once again! And it was nice to have an appearance from Snape. Awesome chapter shadow!

Author's Response: I just HAD to do it! Hee! The bug didn't strike me as the type to keep working as merely a gossip columnist for the rest of her career! Plus, it was an angle I'd never seen done before, so I was hoping it would be original and humorous! Thanks for letting me know it worked! And yes! Our fave Potions Master is still among us! Yay! ;-D

Awesome Shadow! I really enjoyed this chapter! Perfect job! Hehehehehehehe the ending to this chapter was perfect! Love it!

Author's Response: Thanks! But don't forget-- the best-laid plans can go awry! And nothing is ever certain when it comes to Dumbledore, even in portrait form... Glad you enjoyed the chapter, and thanks for the review! :-)

Wonderful chapter. I loved how you introduced/expanded on the characters -all of it interesting, nothing feeling superfluous. Nice to see a Snape with just a few of the sharp edges smoothed off too! Looking forward to the next chapter to see how everyone gets on with solving the multiple mysteries. (If I was really being forced to nitpick and prove I was paying attention I would say I don't think Blackpool is a city - but who cares, except maybe some of its residents!)

Author's Response: *sighs* I knew I should've gone with Bristol... But do you realize how small England really is? Seriously! I was looking at a map & it was so hard to find two sizeable locales over 100 miles apart! (No wonder Great Britain wanted to develop a worldwide empire!) After I read your comment, I Googled Blackpool (!) & found the population exceeded 142,000 -- in the US, we have cities 1/8 that size! I'd literally based my selection on the size of the letters in the name!!! Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter, and many thanks for reviewing! Rest assured, the plot will continue to thicken! ;-D

Wow a brilliant crossover can't wait for another chapter and to see how Severus fits into this

    Author's Response:

Wow, thanks for the compliment! I have quite a bit more written ahead, but my library will have closings for Christmas week and New Year's, so I don't know exactly when I can post the next chapter, but your enthusiastic feedback makes me eager to get it up. Hang in there -- it may be a wild ride! (btw, since this is AU, there's a good chance that Snape isn't really dead... But that's all the teaser I'm giving out for now!) Thanks for reading and reviewinng!
