I like the idea of the students getting their auror training at Hogwarts. Though with the new students and the existing students retaking their last year, Hogwarts will be bursting. I'm looking forward to learning more about Alexis, too. It seems she has more to her story than she told earlier.

Hmm ... intriguing start. I really love stories that are centered around the mind, so the summary caught me right away!

That was quite a story that Alexis told them. Her parents may have rejected her and she clearly expects it from the rest of wizarding society but she is in for a shock when she meets the Weasleys. I'm going to be looking forward to Alexis and Molly meeting.

The Manor sounds impressive. I'm glad that Harry has a place to stay where he is comfortable and happy. It will make it easier for him to figure out what he wants to do if he is at ease. I was also glad that he had Ginny come early so that he would talk to her.

Nice story. I'm curious where you intend to go with it. I like Alexis - you developed her well. One thing annoys me a bit however even though I think it's probably unimportant to the storyarc. Why are only Gryffindors and only males in the special Auror programme?

Author's Response: Hmm...Good question about only the males...To be honest it wasn't by any particular design that it happened that way. The option was only open to individuals that missed their NEWTs (7th years) who fought in the war. While I intended notices to be sent to everyone eligible, females included, I have different career paths for the other elgible females in trying to keep as closely to what JK had released later. (If that makes sense...) I can assure you, as a female with several years served in the muggle US Military, it was nothing sexist or biased in anyway. The same goes for the houses...no significant discrimination meant. I do hope you continue reading and enjoying! :)

I'm looking forward to Harry's reaction to his new home at Alexis' house. The house elves will probably be thrilled to have someone to serve after so long, especially someone who will treat them well.

It sounds like Alexis coming to Hogwarts will be a good thing for Harry. She should be able to give him some help with the issues he is having.

That was a surprise. No wonder Healer Prewitt was in a bad mood. It doesn't say much for her employer, if they didn't care if she returned or not.

Ha. I wonder if Dumbledore has any idea of Snape's intention to see Healer Prewitt about Harry. He always seemed to know what was going on.

The funeral was a sad time for them all. I liked that even Draco had turned up. Hopefully Snape can help Harry with his guilt. Snape has been there himself.
