Cute story, though I would have liked for each chapter to be a bit longer and detailed. It was nice to see a Snape that did not immediately blame Harry but instead took the time to investigate a little further and find out the truth about Harry's situation.

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing. I can see your point about length etc, although it was only meant to be a short piece. I'd put headings in as scene breaks (because on my story in the last fest all the spacing went haywire making it hard to read) and they became chapter breaks!

This is a terrific Christmas story! Young Harry is absolutely adorable, and so grateful for the changes in his life-- he writes thank you cards from the goodness of his heart! And Snape is such a sympathetic character throughout, despite a touch of snarkiness, even though it's directed toward people other than Harry. Enjoyed it so much, rosina! Thanks!
