Wow, again, wonderful. I loved the hesitant questions of Severus' directed at Dumbledore, and you can tell that he is so conflicted over the whole situation. You described perfectly his emotions over Lily, that wish for some part of her, and yet that fear that he could not bear to be near anything or anyone that reminded him of her due to how much he loved her. Great work! Something about your writing style just catches me, and that I find is a rare thing in fanfiction. It isn't underdone, or overdone. Lovely.
Author's Response: Thanks! I was afraid that he would end up being horribly out of character though I tried making him his usual sort of gruff and "I don't care about Potter" - self. I'm glad you think it is not too much! :)
