I'm glad that, even though Severus took in the abused Harry, he is still our snarky Potions Master. Christmas decorations? Bah, humbug. At least he is loosening up about Christmas for Harry.

I enjoyed the way you tied Lily's story and Harry's together with the gingerbread men. Between the gingerbread, the green eyes and Petunia Dursley, Severus has to know who the little boy is.

Really enjoyed the story. I liked that the Dursleys lost everything through their own fault rather than some nasty wizards retribution. It looks as though Harry will be staying with Snape permanently - they will make a very good team!

Love all the conversations. Harry is a chatty little soul and not at all intimidated by Severus (the poor man is going to have trouble when Harry starts at Hogwarts!).
