Reviews For Visions of Sugarplums Danced in Their Heads
I just just love the way you make Severus grow in this story and he needs to do so in order to become Harrys family after he wakes as well (although I don't want him to wake up haha). A funny fact: I'm still wondering about the wedding ring - did he gave it back because of his stay in Azkaban? Did he leave it at home or did he take it with him? I know... stupid little thing to think about but that's just "how I roll" :D PLEASE update as soon as possible! Author's Response: Yeah, I feel bad about the fact that he has to wake up haha, but I do think he'll learn a lot which is important. I wrote this on another review but I am going to copy and paste it here: The ring was in his pocket, but the guards at Azkaban kept it safe with his other possessions. I think he may have tried to give it back to James, I can see him having trouble looking at it after what happened. I think he would have done it so profusely that James would have taken the ring and held it for Severus until he needed it again. Pauline did get proposed to with that ring though :) Good question btw, I didn't really think of it until you guys all started asking to be honest.
I hope you enjoy the rest of the story! Let me know your thoughts! Thanks again for reviewing.
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked the ring scene, it is one of my favourites too! I know, I was worried about the break-up because I wanted people to like Pauline, but if you really think about what he did, that's a hard thing to get past (and it should be) especially when her parents were potentially killed if not by him, by his friends. I wanted to stay true to that stuggle for her. Ultimately, though she loved him and he loved her, and that allowed her to look beyond his past. As for Voldemort, the chair leg may have just done it ;)
Author's Response: I'm so glad! Thanks for your review!
oh i get that this is a dream right? when will snape returns back in reality with harry? O: Author's Response: James stabbed Voldemort through the stomach with the broken leg of a wooden chair. The deatheaters were trying to get in the room, Remus was able to keep them locked away until they disapparated. The last Horcrux was the Diary. Dumbledore figured it out after Voldemort reappeared and destroyed it.
And its more than a dream, its a very intense, realistic vision. The visions have been used to convict people for criminal offences so they are reliable alternate realities, but ultimately, yes it is not true. Keep reading, Snape will return soon!
I wonder which horcrux they forgot and who brought back Voldeyshorts. Oh the irony Vodey dies in suck a muggle way. LOL!!! Great Chapter Author's Response: I was worried about that break-up scene because I didn't want people to start hating Polly. I wanted to be true to the seriousness of Snape's actions though, and how hard that could be to get past for someone who had their parents killed by Deatheaters. The Horcrux they didn't get was the Diary. Dumbledore figured out that they would be related to Hogwarts so they got the locket (James knew who RAB was), the cup and the diadum. Guant's ring was also an obvious choice to Voldemort. However, since the Chamber didn't open in this timeline, they did not figure out that the diary was a Horcrux until after Voldemort's return.
Your story has quickly become one of my all time favorites - unique and wonderful idea that is heartbreaking but beautifully done Author's Response: What kind words, thank you so much! I hope you enjoy the rest. Let me know what you think : )
Author's Response: Haha yeah, I read the shower scene after I posted it an was like 'oh woah I really went for it there' haha. I'm glad you liked it. Thanks so much for all of your reviews.
Author's Response: Me too!
Author's Response: Haha it was fun to write! A little lighter than some previous ones. I'm glad you liked it!
Author's Response: This is the problem with answering reviews late...the questions are answered!!!!! I didn't want to re-write all the Christmas stuff because that would be boring (both to read and write). I thought Harry going to Hogwarts was a good place to stop it because that's where real Snape and real Harry actually me. Harry's vision and Snapes first vision starts four months later (though you know that - duh! haha) Its fun to write children growing and changing so I'm glad you enjoyed that! |
