I'm glad that Harry is starting to work some of this through with Severus. He can't keep bottling it up. I enjoyed the lucid dreaming technique. I've occasionally been able to wake myself from a nightmare by doing that.
Author's Response: Ultimately, that's Harry's downfall - bottling it up. Yeah, I kind of taught myself the lucid dreaming thing, so it's not like official instructions, but it's what I tell people. It has limitations though.

Sorry, this thing with Vernon is so horrible - I cannot think of a thing, except him having to suffer the same, mentally and physically over an extended time, that would be appropriate and enough for what he has done to Harry. Obviously, he is beyond being able to develop any true understanding or remorse.

Wow Severus was acting like a real father there getting Harry to talk about it and making him think. McGonagall would never have done something like that for a student under her care. Severus notice these things and tries to fix the problems :)
