Wow. Malfoy really is a first class jerk. Good for Sirius for putting Harry before his dislike of Snape. Sirius can candle whoever is in the bathroom and Snape will be free to torment whatever is left for the rest of the year.

Harry is doing a good job of trying to alienate his supporters. I know he is trying to protect the ones he loves but that isn't his choice to make. He certainly hurt Severus.
Author's Response: Oh, definitely he hurt Severus. He's got a saving people thing, and he's trying to stop Severus' secrets from coming out, but then, you know everything that's going through his head. You're right, it's not his choice to make. He'll get that lecture eventually!
If Draco is working with Rita Skeeter it may be sometime until it all dies down. I wonder if Snape can convince him not to cut off his friends? He will need their support.
Author's Response: It'll definitely be awhile, yes... *glares at Draco* Seeing as I like him, I'm not sure why he came off as such a despicable character in this story. *shrugs*
Snort. My last comment suddenly went from crows to their religion, meaning Harry and Snape's thoughts on religion. As far as I know, the crows don't have a specific stance on religion. I'm sure you figured it out but it struck me as funny.
Author's Response: lol, I hadn't even noticed that! But thank you for pointing that out. It did make me smile! Anyway, I'm glad you have a family of crows. I had a couple ducks once. They lived near my house and we rescued the mama's babies from the sewer. It was an adventurous Saturday afternoon. I have never met a crow with a stance on religion, no. Do let me know if you find one, though.
That was a nice break for both of them with the exception seeing of Petunia and Dudley. I'm glad they had a chance to bond and be themselves outside of Hogwarts. I especially liked Harry's reasons for feeding the birds. I have been befriended by a crow family. They know who I am, where my office is and what my car looks like. Sometimes they come when I call or at least answer if they are within range and they will just hang out in the tree outside my window and chatter at me. Harry's right - having the trust of a wild creature is really a joyous thing. The sharing of their thoughts about religion was a nice touch, too.
A change of scene sounds like a good plan. Since Voldemort is no longer on the scene actively, I wonder if they should just leave Hogwarts altogether.
Author's Response: That would make the story boring though.
If Snape wants to get back at Umbridge, he ought to involve Sirius. I'm sure he would be delighted to take care of the problem. And it would give the two former enemies something to work on together.
Author's Response: Well, the reason I didn't do that with Umbridge was because I was planning to do that with someone else. *cough* You'll see.
Lots of self doubt on both sides. At least Nagini is no longer a horcrux and Severus destroyed that one.
I wonder if Snape is really dead or if he just forced the horcrux out? On to the next chapter.
