I wonder why Sirius returned to the Death Eaters? He had already shown up Snape and taken care of Vernon. When Severus comes for Harry I wonder if Sirius will turn up to try and fix his blunder? Looking forward to finding out.
Author's Response: Sirius' return was intended because once you start with the Death Eaters, it's not that easy to get out. They don't just let you go on a whim. Even though Sirius wanted out, they weren't having any of it.
Severus is being quite patient with Harry. Too bad Black put the notion in his head. Harry's already having trouble trusting and didn't need any extra insinuations from Sirius to deal with.
Well, Sirius put his foot in it. Gryffindor through and through. I was glad that Snape told Sirius what he did though Black probably won't believe it. Too Severus didn't tell Harry that. Of course that isn't Snape's strong suit.
I liked the way Ron reassured Harry. Pointing out that Harry wouldn't abandon Ron if her were the victim was a good way to confirm his friendship. So Harry will be going horcrux hunting. Good thing. As Snape said, it will take his mind off things.
Good. I'm glad Ron and Hermione kept after Harry until he told them. Their reaction to the abuse probably helped him. Bottling t up isn't doing him any good. Having him talk to them in the Room of Requirement was a good idea. No chance of anyone else overhearing.
Author's Response: No one overheard. In this story, Ron and Hermione will always do their best to be good friends. Not saying they won't screw up at some point, but it will never be intentional.
I wonder if Harry will learn any of the details about how Sirius came to know about Vernon? Speaking of Sirius, I can't imagine he will be happy at the idea of Harry going horcrux hunting with Snape.

So after all that, Voldy knew where Severus' loyalty lay all along. Poor Snape. That won't be easy to accept. Looking forward to finding out what happens to Vernon, too.
Sirius, avid hater of Dark Magic, is thinking of approaching Voldemort about Snape. Azkaban really has unhinged him. He must have no idea that Harry would never forgive him if he did that.
Author's Response: Only because he thinks that's the best way of getting rid of Snape and Dumbledore, not because he likes Voldemort. And Harry...has a very high tolerance of forgiveness.
