Although I read, and reviewed, this chapter a couple of days ago I just wanted to add a little. The story and chapter are very good but re-reading the earlier ones I have realised that none of the three adults have asked any questions about the accident or why Harry ended up on the streets! This seems extraordinary to me and a bit of a hole in the plot. Also I'm sure Minerva would have wanted to meet Harry before this. This is just a suggestion and not a criticism of your wonderful story.

Very good chapter, Severus is learning quickly! Can't wait for the next chapter and see how the magicical world reacts to Harry.
I'm really enjoying this story. The idea of Harry's extended touch is particularly interesting and I'm curious as to how Harry will go about learning magic.
I can't wait for the next chapter! :D

Loved the encounter with the Friar! Also interesting was Harry's perception that his knowledge and experience of the London streets will come in handy as he learns to adapt to Hogwarts castle. And I have to believe that someone could develop a magic spell to transform or duplicate books into Braille versions (both Harry's textbooks as well as Hogwarts library books), so he can do homework and research, not to mention enjoy some light reading! Looking forward to Diagon Alley...
