A very sad chapter, Harry should have had a social worker to check up on his placement but as ever he has fallen through the cracks go the system. Can't wait for Severus to find him but how did he read his Hogwart's letter? Thank you for the update can't wait until the next one!

I love your Harry he is so IC. I think that canon Harry would be like this in the circumstances although not so patient! Thank you so much.
Author's Response: thank you! I'm glad you think Harry is fairly close to canon. I figure he would be fairly similar - we are working with the same kid, and fairly similar early years of life - but a little different. I want to show a bit of his journey that gets him to where he is in my story.

I love this story, it did remind me a little of Burnt but a different Harry I think and outcome. Thank you for posting it here

again stupid bastards. Why must people be so mean and crude and stupid and grrrrrr. Emily should have did something. There was no way for Harry to defend himself when he can't see it coming. Bloody people are not meant to raise children.
