Reviews For The Blood of the Covenant
Your idea of using the migrain as a way for suppressed memories to resurface is intriguing. It gives more information on how the magic of this works works. Will poor Snape ever get his memories back? "Forgive me my sins." I love the Truth Beneath the Rose reference! I hope that Hermione and Harry patch things up in the upcoming chapters. For me, their friendship is one of the best aspects of the book. Author's Response: I'm sorry I haven't gotten to replying to your email! I've been doing homework, spending time with a close friend, and now writing the first chapter to a new story idea! Yes, it will be posted here shortly, hopefully. No, Snape will never get his memories back. :( Hahahahaha, yes, yes, that was a Within Temptation reference!!!! You earn a gold star for being the first one to catch that. And yes, Harry and Hermione will patch things up. :)
They finally get rescued and Harry has to pass out! You're killing me here! Seriously though, I am so glad that they are finally outta there! Great chapter, but evil cliffie! Please update soon.
Regardless of that little side plot, I like what I do understand, it's what keeps me reading. Please, just please, explain that side plot to which I have been so confused about before you end this story. Author's Response: Well, next chapter will help clear up some of this, because Hermione and Harry will have a talk. What has been established so far is that Dumbledore asked Hermione to stop hanging out with Harry, and being the "adults are always right" person that she is, Hermione's first reaction was to do as she was told. She's beginning to regret her actions, though, as shown by the comment that she coudn't bare to lose both her friends like that. She didn't go down there to rescue Harry and Severus. She was headed to class and happened to find them. So Harry and Hermione will talk next chapter, cry a little, make up, she'll apologize, and Harry will forgive her. They might be able to figure a few things out about Ron as well. I think the problem that's presenting itself in this story is that I'm writing almost exclusively from Harry and/or Severus' POV. And since they're probably the two most out-of-the-loop people, it leaves the reader a bit more in the dark than if I chose to write from others' PsOV. For example, please notice (it's a clue) that I have never written from Dumbledore's POV.
