Well, now Snape has a new reason to hate Black. Poor Harry. So used to being abused that he doesn't want Sirius punished. I wonder how Dumbledore will react?
That was an interesting opening. Especially the way you began with Harry's fairy tale of an ordinary life. His reasoning in going to Snape about Black makes sense. Whatever he thinks of Snape, the man is a head of house and a teacher. With that and his hatred of Black, he will probably believe Harry and act on whatever he is told.

This is very interesting and well written. I like how you wrote Snape, though Harry is more forthcoming than one would expect. Looking forward to more.
I really like you introduction at the beginning it's a really nice way to start of. I also find your plot really realistic so far. At least I myself start with stupid things that are somehow related before I can really say it. It makes it real and believable. And by stopping at this point you leave questions and things the reader really wants answers too so we will keep reading.It also tends to make us (or at least me) really impatient. And now I have to wait *sigh*

I like your Snape :) Harry is a little too straightforward, but it probably be explained later.
