I’m so relieved that Harry told Snape what’s happening, and I especially love that Snape offered his comfort so naturally without Harry having to ask.
I enjoyed the forced pairings and resultant altercations. It will be nice to see everyone settle into companionship.
I like your spin on Lucius. It’s a refreshing change from how he’s typically portrayed.
I wonder what machinations were behind Dumbledore relinquishing his guardianship, and thus power over Harry, to Severus. Whatever it was, I’m glad that it appears to be backfiring!
I really appreciate how Snape tried to alleviate Harry’s fears about his future and preconceived notions about himself.
I love how caring and compassionate Snape is being.
I wonder why Bellatrix was in the Forbidden Forest in the first place. Poor Harry. What an awful memory to be caught in.
I hope that manipulative Dumbledore isn’t behind the missing trunk and paucity of funds.
Fantastic chapter. I love the explosive emotion at the end.
