The relationship between Harry and Snape has really blossomed. The scene where Harry tells Severus about his bad dream and Snape realizes how he feels about Harry, was lovely. I particularly like the way you are handling the characters. Even if they only appear briefly, like Filch, they are interesting and well developed. Harry is especially good. He's compassionate, grateful for any thing good and friendly without being too good to be true. I need to make sure that I marked it as a favorite because I will want to reread it.

Hahahaha. 'War waged with food products.' Harry did throw food though. He threw a piece of squash at Ron. And they will all pay a heavy price for their bit of fun.

So Dumbledore really does have health problems. Minerva inherited a mess from him. Quirrell, the Philosopher's Stone, the disappearing headmaster - she has her hands full.
Author's Response: A different sort of Dumbledore I don't believe has ever been portrayed.
That was a surprise. Dumbledore finally forced Severus' hand. If he thought, Snape would stand by and let him set up Harry, he was mistaken.
The kids finding Fluffy was a surprise. I wonder if Dumbledore warned the students to stay away from that floor?
And Dumbledore keeps digging himself in deeper and deeper. Now Harry's friends are unnerved by him as well.
I'm sure Severus found Harry's memory of the voice to be chilling. Dumbledore must be losing it if he is letting Quirrell injure students and get away with it.
That was clever of Snape. If the two houses are paired and both loose over an incorrect potion, they probably won't be any tampering with someone else's potions. I wonder what the Death Eater students will tell their parents about the new situation?
The opening part with Severus' concerns about Albus were interesting. Snape cares for both Albus and now Harry so he must be feeling torn. It sounds like his main responsibility will be for Harry though. Having Regulus tell Voldy about the prophesy was a twist. At least Snape doesn't have that on his conscience.
