Hi! I just had some facts for you about Alzheimer's. If Tobias is as far along in it as you say ( not remembering anything for more then a few hours) he would not make nearly as much sense when he is talking. He would stutter a lot, trying to find the right words, and he probably wouldn't make that much sense, his sentences would sound very random. My grandpa has had Alzheimer's for years and that's how I know this. Thanks for your time :)

Author's Response: You are of course right, thanks for informing me, I will add this to my list of changes when I go through the series to correct the mistakes

Hello. I must say that this a very moving story and I adore it. I was in tears with the interaction between Severus, Tobias and Harry. It's different than most stories of this nature, I like it. Just two little nitpicks, just spelling errors is all. When Severus is speaking in a staccato, you had two kk instead of cc. Also when Severus talks to Harry after the bone incident, you want prize not price. Quick fixes. Looking forward to the rest, which I shall now read.

Author's Response: Oh that is such a lovely review, thanks so much! I've just posted the sequel and hope it will be approved shortly and that you will enjoy it too.

I liked your version of Tobias. I was glad that Severus explained the living situation. I had been wondering who took care of Tobias while Snape was a Hogwarts.

Author's Response: Yeah, it just hit me that I don't have to kill off Tobias and I always missed my Grandparents growing up, so I wanted to give Harry the experience. I also think he works well as a reminder for Severus of what could go wrong...

This chapter was really touching. I love your portrayal of Tobias, it feels very real. My grandmother had Alzheimer and there were times she would not recognize her own children even though she recognized us, her grandchildren.

Anyway, I'm glad Snape is no longer angry with Harry. 'You made a mistake, these are the consequences, afterwards your punishment is over and you'll be forgiven' is a good way to discipline a child.

    Author's Response:

Thanks for the lovely review, I wondered if I had portrayed him well with that disease. I haven't know anyone with Alzheimer and i didn't want to be unfeeling. I will touch upon Tobias and his illness more in the sequel to "love is a charm"
