I was glad that Sirius had accepted Snape as being good for Harry as well as Harry being good for Snape. I'm not sure that I would have admitted to mistreating the Dursleys though. Looking forward to finding out why Harry is so upset.
Author's Response: Snape wanted to take it out of the equation, instead of hiding it and letting it fester. That would have been far worse. Especially if Harry found out later that he had done that and then deceived him about it
