"Harry, it is of no need to know why you do or do not need them."
I think this is the stupidest, yet most common, attitude I've ever encountered in adults. Adults need to know "why" before they do something, why not teenagers? Especially if it's a teenager as important as Harry. Just so stupid *shakes head* Adults! What can you do?
And yeah, feeling more negative towards DD is totally normal after that 'conversation'.
somehow i don't think snape has actually tried to teach harry, nor will he in the future, no matter what promises he makes to DD. Snape can twist the truth around like no one can :-)

Great beginning. Can't wait to see where you go with this story.
Hope Snape gets to confront the Dursleys at some point too.
Omg ! Dumbles is an idiot ! I hope that Snape gets Harry out of there. i am guessing that the BIG secret is that Harry is Snape's son?
I can' t wait for Snape to find out.
Great new story. I am looking forward to seeing where you are going with it.
