Really enjoyed this story. I've been mulling over a house elf rebellion story and hope to have time to write it soon.

Hey! Finally got to sit down and read this wonderfully long one-shot, ^_^
A few typos I found while reading. 'Coming' in the first sentence is written as 'comming'. And again when the little Ravenclaw boy is saying, "I mean, if the elves aren't comming back?"
When the house elves and students decide to make stuff to show appreciation to Harry, Dobby says 'comming'.

When Evan breaks the bowl, "Forget it," Harry says, we'll clean it up later. Go get more.
There are no quotation marks on the end of his last sentence.

When Dumbledore finds them and says "There," He said with a smile." There is quotation marks after smile.

I laughed so hard at "Hufflepuff's got ham!" That was fantastic.

When Harry says 'Yes maam' to McGonagall, there needs to be that little mark, whatever it's called, 'Yes ma'am."

There are end quotation marks after Harry is directing Dean and Parvati what to do in the kitchen, but he isn't done speaking yet. --Dean and Parvati" slice the meat thin....

Snape with an apron on had me smiling, :D

Weird is spelt as 'wierd' when Harry leaves Snape to go up to the great hall to eat. Amounts is spelt as ammounts.
Because is spelt as becuase, twice.

The mental image of Draco 'stirring oatmeal in as lazy a manner as possible' love it!

And aww at the ending! It's so good that Snape's eyes were opened at last and that Harry won't have to return to the Dursleys. :) Overall a very nice one-shot! Hope you don't mind me pointing out the typos, some people that review my stories don't ever point out where they are at in the stories, just say that they are there and it drives me loco! Thank you so much for sharing!

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked the story.  I don't have spell check because I'm on Word Pad instead of MS Word like I used to be, and I frequently write stories late into the night so there are usually spelling errors.

Haha, what a riot. Good to see Malfoy never changes, even if everyone else does :)

This was quite a fun read :-)

I'm surprised that an Elf Strike has never been considered before in a fanfic. Well done! Very creative!
