Reviews For Spiral of Trust
I wish they'd just go back to Hogwarts and all but I sort of want to know all that happened inside the nightclub.. Hope you're able to post more soon, this is one of my favourite fics. Have a nice vacation! =] Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I’m glad that you enjoy my story! There will be a few more chapters that will take place at the Ministry of Magic and at St Mungo’s, but eventually they will of course return to Hogwarts. Snape remembers Harry’s difficulties with the AK at the beginning of the story - I am thrilled that you do as well, as the next chapter builds on those experiences from the first chapters of the book.
Author's Response: I am happy you caught up with me and left me your reviews - they are always appreciated! The chapter I am posting now will hold a discussion about Avada Kedavras. You’re right - it was very hard for Harry to do it.
I hope you have a great vacation! Author's Response: I’m afraid the consequences of the attack in Paris and Harry’s AK will need a few more chapters to sort out. It will be complicated - but I kind of like that :-)
I had a great vacation, by the way - I hadn’t been abroad for a long time and it’s always sort of refreshing to realise that everyday life can play out in slightly different ways than at home, and still be just fine!
Author's Response: I'm happy to have a new reader review my story and glad that you like it! I updated just NOW! I generally do weekly updates - one or two chapters at a time. Enjoy :-)
However, it would be so great if Harry - in his scientific work - found a way to combine technology with incantations or something like that. Of course you can write whatever you want, I just think it would be a nice subplot to broaden the perception of all things muggle. Science has its own magic after all. Can’t wait for the next update, you are doing great. Also thanks for always giving detailed answers to the reviews, it must be a lot of additional work to do so. Author's Response: I truly enjoy the readers reviews, whether they are simply short, encouraging comments, or point out a mistake or an inconsistency in the text that I am eager to correct, or are longer reflections, like yours, on the magic and on the characters of the story. One may attempt to understand magic with a scientific approach - it’s probably in vain, but very fun to do so, so why not toy with the theories? Your idea to mix magic and (Muggle) science is really interesting. Arthur Weasley is actually working with ”Muggle artefacts”, isn’t he? Maybe Harry, with his advantage of being familiar with both worlds, could come up with some new invention? I’m afraid ’Spiral of Trust’ is already finished (approximately fifteen more chapters to go), so I will have difficulties to fit it in, however. And that is probably why I have the time to answer the reviews. I only need to proof-read each chapter thoroughly before posting it, but I guess that if you’re in the middle of a writing process, which is terribly time-consuming, it might be harder to do so. I enjoy getting answers to my reviews, anyhow, so that’s why I make an effort to answer yours :-)
