Reviews For Spiral of Trust
Author's Response: Thanks! It was nice to write a chapter that took place at the Burrow for a change.
Thanks so much for the update! Author's Response: Wow! That was a whole bunch of reviews - thanks for taking the time to write them all! It is really gratifying to have readers' (and writers') feed-back on the story! Funny you should mention Harry posing for photo ops with Snape... You have an intuition for these things :-) You'll have to wait quite a substantial number of chapters before something like that might come up, though. And the task of Mrs Weasley will also be revealed towards the end of the story. In the meantime, I hope you will continue to enjoy yourself while reading!
Author's Response: There's a bit of an explanation coming up in the next chapter. To hear Snape's point of view, you need to wait a little longer, though...
I love all the magical theory in this. It's so fascinating and well-developed. Author's Response: Thanks!
Author's Response: Thank you! And there will be much more :-)
In fact, while reading the beginning part of this chapter, I was wondering why snape was acting so out of character by helping Harry :-) Great twist though. Can harry finally give up on him now? *dangerously close to whining* I think enough is enough. Harry is verging into doormat territory if he just accepts this and still defends Snape. Author's Response: *Whining back* You are so suspicious of Snape! You're supposed to be shocked, not to expect such behaviour from him! :-) Okay, I acknowledge that he is a difficult and ambivalent character, but wasn't that scene with Harry and Snape doing the Double Knight's Move just lovely? I agree with your analysis though that Harry is just a little too pliant and forgiving. But it's approaching saintly territory, not doormat!
Author's Response: Thank you, I enjoy writing those parts in particular - I'm glad that it shows. |
