Author's Response: Thank you. "Mass scenes" are more complicated to write and get to make sense, I think, than a dialogue between just a few people. Even if the dialogues are more intense and emotional, I believe that you need to alternate different kinds of scenes in a story to make it interesting in the long run. So I did my best, although I found it a bit difficult.

A very powerful chapter thank you
Buckle up folks. It's going to be a bumpy ride. I don't envy Snape. Being headmaster after the last year is going to be especially hard. I hope Harry, Ron and Hermione stick up for him. Harry's comments should carry some weight with the other students.

Author's Response: Don't worry, I am. With Snape's character it is one step forward and two steps backwards, so it will be a long story... :-) And he is not as bad as he seems at the beginning of this story.

Thank you a very interesting chapter and discussion about when to kill someone. You got the moral viewpoint of the two spot on. Ver spooky part when Harry retraces his steps.

The scene in the Deathly Hallows when Harry leaves Dumbledore's office and go to meet his death in the Forbidden Forest is so strong and suggestive and sad. Writing this piece of fanfic, I couldn't resist adding that scene when Harry retraces his steps - an homage to JKR really...

I'm surprised that Snape hasn't trusted Harry more. He knows Harry better now and is aware that he is trustworthy. Harry never told anyone about Severus' worst memory so it isn't likely that he will tell anyone about that night or Snape's other memories.
