It was no surprise that neither Harry nor Snape wanted security on themselves. I hope that doesn't backfire on them. Now that Harry and Severus are ready to confront the demon, I am looking forward to what happens next.

Awesome. I can't wait for the drama to start. I wonder about the new characters and am interested in what they might bring to the story. Are any of them going to end up as a villain? Perhaps a love interest for Snape? I am enjoying your Snape and Harry, and the retelling of Harry's journey to his death the first time. I hope that the attack won't be stronger because of where they are, and from Harry weakening himself through the use of so much magic earlier. Can't wait for the update! Please update when you can!

Snape did a good job getting information from Harry. At least he has some background before Harry starts having his nightmares.
I was surprised that Harry didn't want to return Snape's memories. After that reaction, it's no wonder that Snape thought Harry wanted to talk about Lily with him. At least they finally got to the problem of Harry's night terrors.
Author's Response: I'll come back to those memories later on. Please note that it is a copy of the memories we are speaking about. Snape only needs them back because he wants to shield his privacy (which is perfectly comprehensible) but he still have his own memories intact. I think Harry's instincts, based on previous experience, told him not to yield to Snape right away.
The scene where Snape was saved was nice. I especially liked Hagrid's emotional response to Severus' situation during the war.
It sounds like everyone is dealing with their grief in their own ways. I kind of wonder if it will catch up with Ginny at some point since she doesn't seem to be feeling it now. I'm surprised that Harry hasn't approached Snape before this but look forward to the meeting.
