Don't shorten it! It took two tries to read it but loved every bit of it especially the creepy bit at the end!

Okay, so I've spent awake till 4 a.m. last night just to read this trough the end and I nearly fainted of fatigue, so I couldn't write a fair review. I mean it has to be special because the story itself is. This is absolutely amazing and it made me go to sleep with smile on my face. Seeing Snape, portrayed exactly as Rowling has portrayed him in the book and then creating a bond with Harry is just priceless. I love how Snape refers to him in certain ways that are so untypical for him.
I only wish you to continue this, friend. It is amazingly well written and I swear I am going to be so pissed if this doesn't go on, because it has a potential! I'm serious. If I had Rowling's mail I'd send this to her instantly! This was the only light in a pure darkness of events that shone in my life lately. Thank you for that gift, really. Thank you and please don't lose your motivation, because I really wish to see where this is going. I wish to see what level their relationship will reach.

I'm planning for this to be a novel length story so it will take a long time to finish. I know exactly where I want this story to go and I won't stop until the end. I really do hope you'll stay interested, at least for a while longer. I've saved your review and when I get a case of writer's block, I'll read it again and find the strength to carry on. Again, thank you for this review. You say that my story is a gift but your review is an even greater gift. I hope that if you'll read the next chapter, you'll tell me what you think of it. I know what you mean by the bond between Harry and Severus. There are so many great stories on this site and each one of them put a smile on my face. I don't know why but when everything in my life goes wrong, I read a good story about Severus and it makes me feel a bit better. I don't know what it is about this character that comforts me so much but the truth is he does. I am just so glad that my story could give you a smile just like so many others have done for me over the years.
Oh dear Merlin! If Rowling ever finds out what I'm about to do to her favourite house and to her beloved James Potter, she is going to shoot me! Or maybe she's a secret witch and she'll Avada Kadavra me instead! Either way, I'm stone dead. So pretty please with a cherry on top, don't tell!!! ;)
I don't think you needed to split up the chapter or shorten their conversation. It's great the way it is.
Author's Response: Thanks for the response! I looked at the word count, saw that it was twice my usual length and thought that it might be too long. I'm very glad it wasn't an issue.
