Are you kidding? I was sure that we had a psychic connection and that you knew that I love your story. Oh well, I guess I can write you a note. It's not that hard. I am loving this story, but I'm not very happy about this whole Dumbledore thing.

I liked seeing how Severus improved in the classroom. Complementing Hermione was something he would never have done in the past. I also liked that he pushed her into being better. Getting her to think outside the box.

Glad to see Severus trying with Harry. It is always helpful to have something to distract you when making conversation. Pleased to see that they found this out too.

Dumbledore had to put on that ring again. Argh! If he dies in Harry's first year, that will be a huge blow to the Order.

It always seemed to me that Severus was able to confine the curse to Dumbledore's arm. I never understood why his arm wasn't simply amputated.

The conversation between Dumbledore and Sirius really irritated me. This was a big part of why I really didn't like Dumbledore. He condemned an innocent child to a decade of neglect, emotional abuse and verbal abuse.

He says he did it for "Harry's safety". If he was truly concerned about that, he should have disguised Remus and Harry, changed their names and sent them to another country. A house elf could have watched Harry on full moon nights. Remus would have gladly taken Veritaserum so Dumbledore wouldn't have to worry about Remus being a betrayer.

The books don't really show that the Dursleys' abuse had a lasting effect, but that is NOT reality. Harry would have been hugely effected.

Lovely chapter I love the thought of SIrius and Severus in a bar chatting amicably!

Great to have this story and the site back. Loved having Harry's siblings in the story even if they were only in a mirror!

Yay! I love it! Hooray for Sirius being the better man, reaching out and sharing a part of himself. Good job showing some of the maturity and pain Sirius has gone through; I much prefer it to craziness. I enjoyed reading from Snape's perspective. I hope that he will end up getting everything he wants. At the very least, he can get over Lily now and seek out Pauline without that holding him back. yay!

So, out of a bad situation, comes some good. Severus finally connected with Sirius and got some good advice. I hope Severus can act on it. It sounds like he is ready. Just wanted to say again how delighted I am that you are writing a sequel to one of my favorite stories. Awesome!

Good story. Severus is very in-character here. He would find it very difficult to change positively.

Severus may not be willing to admit it out loud yet, but he does care for Harry. It shows in the last chapter, when he was scolding Draco and Harry. He scolded Draco in front of others. That would not have happened in Cannon.

Severus called Harry by his first name, rather than by 'Potter'. And also, Severus didn't say that Harry was being 'arrogant like his father.' I don't know how Severus was planning on finishing his sentence, but anyone else would have said "your father would be disappointed."

    Looking forward to more.
