I'm glad that Snape was more open to Harry doing the cleaning than he seemed to be about the cooking. It probably is easier for Snape to take care of it magically but when Harry does it the Muggle way, it gives him something to do and makes him feel like he is contributing.
Author's Response: Snape also got to see how proud Harry was of his work, and didn't want to burst his bubble. Additionally, he'd seen how badly the cooking thing had gone over so he knew not to do that again.

Author's Response: If flowed very nicely, all things considering actually. There was a certain amount of tiredness after, though, to be sure.

Oh wow. Powerful chapter. I appreciated Snape's openness and honesty. Great descriptions and narration in this chapter. Thanks so much for the update!
Author's Response: Glad you enjoyed it! Snape didn't have much choice; there was very little other explanation he could give without opening it up to a barrage of other questions about some sort of lie. "You had a dog? Why did you name your dog that? Were you cruel to the dog? Didn't you like the dog?" Etc, etc.
