Reviews For Summer Snaps
Author's Response: You're probably right, but alas it does not. I wanted to do that at first but I changed my mind. My other story is from multi POV and I thought that it would be fun to keep this one from Harry's POV. It's a new experience for me, which is good for improving my writing. I am writing an extra chapter from Snape's POV though. It's going to be the last chapter of this particular story. It will be at the end of the summer (or maybe start of the next year) and it will be mostly about Snape reminiscing about everything that happened the past summer. It won't be going into detail or anything like that, since I don't like repeating chapters, it'll just give you an idea of the most influential moments of the summer from his POV. It'll be more of an extra just for fun...
Author's Response: No need to wonder any longer :)
Author's Response: Thank you :D It wasn't something I planned. Just came out that way.. :)
Author's Response: Thank you :) Next chapter will be written and uploaded soon, don't worry ;)
I realise that you have probably already started the next chapters but I tend to prefer stories that stick to one POV. The ones that switch are often redundant. I will, however, continue to read no matter what you choose. Author's Response: Aah wrong words.. I hate that. I'll check it out, see if I can find it. I have to agree about the whole Snape thing, for some of the stories you really have to look for the believability.. Though, personally I think this one is a bit of a stretch too.. I really can imagine Snape agreeing to hide away in Harry's room.. But aah well, some times you have to go a tad silly. My other story is probably even less of a stretch, you might like it too:P And you're welcome. If you really want to thank me, vote for Summer Snaps when the time comes. :P And no, I haven't started the next chapter... I know what going to happen but it could be written from either POV. I get what you mean with redundant though, a lot of people write the exact same scene from to POV's, I refuse to do that. I do rewrite parts of the previous chapters when switching but it's never a duplicate. I hate that.. In this case, there wouldn't be any overlap at all. It was mostly because I thought it might be nice to to the next from Snape's POV because he'll be having a conversation with Dumbledore. Harry probably won't be there for all of it so you won't know what's said when he's gone.. Then again, it might be nice not to know everything in advance.. So many reasons to do it, and so many not to.. What will I do.. :P
Brillante!!! Author's Response: ENGLISH!
i hope you'd keep it as harry's pov tho! it'll be interesting to see how the plot develops just from his pov, insecure and unknowing of snape's (hopefully changing!) perpective of him now that they are spending more time together! Author's Response: Hi, thanks :) That was the man reason for not doing it.. There is a certain draw to not knowing what the others are thing.. But than, there is also something about multi POV. I have it in my other story and I quite like it.. I'll take your opinion into consideration, it's a very good reason.. |
