    I truly enjoyed the unique slant you gave the entire approach to this story! The Dursleys were interestingly different, especially Vernon, and Snape's change due to the appendicitis bond proved amazing to the end. Thanks for this wonderful treat!

    ... I skipped a few steps... oh, right! *clears throats*

    This has been a thoroughly enjoyable read. I found myself completely drawn into the tale from the beginning. In fact, I had meant to stop and leave a few reviews throughout, but I was so eager to read what came next that it simply didn't happen. Thanks for sharing such an enjoyable tale!

    That being said, I would absolutely love to see more at some point. I want to see more Snape and Harry and Weasley bonding, and how the changes of the summer go on to affect the coming school year and beyond. So, if you are considering a sequel, ever, you definitely have my interest!

    Either way, this story is wonderful as it is, and I rather adore how you have crafted a common sickness into a magical rite of passage. Bravo.

I'm glad it captured you :-) I have a rather precise idea of what I would like to do for a sequel - I'll just have to see when I will have time to start the actual writing... I intend to finish "my" other story, Spiral of trust, first.

    Such a fantastic story!! Very well written, great plot and turns and super updating speed! Can't wait for more from you (what ab out a new chapter ob spiral ob trust ;)?!) it was a wonderful journey. Thanks for sharing:-) By the way I really liked Vernons visit and how yoh handled it!

    I quite enjoyed your story. It was simply fabulous. I don't mind the ambiguous ending. The relationship is more important than the biology. Also, I really loved your whole explanation for the purpose of an appendix. You seem to know a lot about foster care, social services, and a ruptured appendix. You were quite realistic with all of them.

    Author's Response: Thank you very much! I did enjoy arranging the story in a setting that I am familiar with. Without being an expert in any of those fields that you mention, as I work in a hospital (and used to work in a paediatric ward) I do know what I'm talking about :-)

    I've enjoyed your story a lot. I was glad that Severus told Harry his history with Lily and the Death Eaters so that Harry has some background and won't be surprised by any of it in the future. It sounds like the Weasley twins are already thinking ahead and making plans for borrowing Severus's boat. I hope there will be a sequel. It sounds like there are some interesting directions you could take.
