Lovely story, and a nice twist to bring Severus and Harry together before the battle. I liked that you didn't have the effects of the disaster too graphic, although clearly horrendous. Very enjoyable.
Author's Response: Thanks. :)

I liked the characterization very much, both of the usual, and the original in Hogwarts.
Author's Response: Thanks. :)
I wish you had written a chapter on the battle. I feel kind of confused since chapter 3 ended with Harry and Severus at the Room and chapter 4 begins after the battle. I like the idea of the storm but I'm afraid that I found the end confusing.
Author's Response: I didn't include the chapter on the battle, because I wasn't changing anything from J.K.s original idea from canon. I felt like if I rehashed it with her lines (as I had done in the first chapter), it'd just be boring. So, instead, I thought I made it clear that I was using J.K's canon version for the final battle and just picking up from there. Thanks for the honest feedback, though.
Interesting that Hogwarts didn't want Snape to tell Harry that he is a horcrux. I wonder what she knows?
Author's Response: She knows quite a bit. :D
That was a surprise. I hadn't expected Hogwarts to be so sentient. The situation with Voldemort and the Headmaster's spy position probably required that strategy. Poor Snape had to have some kind of sympathetic support to make it through the year. I'm glad to see that the staff, Harry and Luna know what is going on now.
Author's Response: I always felt like he did need someone or something to get through that year. Thanks.
So they caught Severus after all. I always thought Dumbledore left poor Snape in a rotten position. I wonder how Severus will defend himself?
Author's Response: Thanks. :)
