Lovely story, and a nice twist to bring Severus and Harry together before the battle. I liked that you didn't have the effects of the disaster too graphic, although clearly horrendous. Very enjoyable.

I wish you had written a chapter on the battle. I feel kind of confused since chapter 3 ended with Harry and Severus at the Room and chapter 4 begins after the battle. I like the idea of the storm but I'm afraid that I found the end confusing.
Author's Response: I didn't include the chapter on the battle, because I wasn't changing anything from J.K.s original idea from canon. I felt like if I rehashed it with her lines (as I had done in the first chapter), it'd just be boring. So, instead, I thought I made it clear that I was using J.K's canon version for the final battle and just picking up from there. Thanks for the honest feedback, though.

Bratty nephew! Cute! But seriously, I loved this story. You kept enough of the original plot to provide a good framework for your own story, and the two story lines mesh beautifully. And Hogwarts personified absolutely made the story worth reading! Amazing concept! Wonderful, too, the way Snape and Harry gained acceptance of each other. Way to go!
Author's Response: Thanks, hun. I've actually been playing around with personifying Hogwarts for a very long time. This was just the first time I actually sort of did it more prounounced than I usually do. :D I'm glad you enjoyed it. :D
