Nice Chapter. Very emotional for the most part but quite funny at the end. The green-red colour play was clever, especially since the the colour of Gryffindor is red.
I liked how both Severus and Harry are dealing with the revelation. Both are naturally upset but they also feel some kind of "mirth" (hard to call it that just yet) which confuses them greatly. It's apparent in Harry being upset about Sev leaving for example. Or in Sev feeling hurt when seeing her cry and questioning himself if he even is suited to raise a child.
That being said, I didn't expect them to already make some progress. Small as it is, it could be far worse. I'm also not quite sure what to make of Petunia. She certainly didn't treat Harry very well over the past years but she doesn't appear that horrid. As it is right now I enjoy her little spats with Sev. Also wondering how she got Harry to even wear those clothes, and what her motives were anyway.
I also liked the short mention of Hermione and Ron, and how they would react to Harry's situation; was very sweet. I have no doubt that they will stick with her regardless of her parenthood.
Good chapter; looking forward to the next one. Thank you.

Very emotional chapter thank you
I was between wanting to hit Severus for enjoying Harry's obviously mortification about the dress and wanting to laugh when he almost choked about the fact that Harry was almost in Slytherin.
HA-- the bit about Harry setting the Hat on fire was great. Very Slytherin!
Love Seveus's comment that she could be a Slytherin, with the color she is wearing!
I like how Harry said she threatened to burn the hat... Very Slytherin

I really enjoy the quick updates. This chapter was great as your other ones have been. The part at the end was sweet when Snape held his hand out first, and I loved how Dudley blurted out about her not eating with them. Kids have a way of doing that. I'm looking forward to how they will deal with their newfound father-daugher relationship. Stern Snape and insecure Harry not being used to anyone giving her even the basic necessities. Could be a long road ahead.

Interesting fanfiction; pleasant to read. Switching between Severus' and Harry's POV really helps to understand the emotional mindset of both characters. Your update speed is also quite high which makes the story even more enjoyable.
I'm both sad and... 'entertained' how Severus only gradually realizes the magnitude of Harry's abuse. Partially it's his own fault since he really wants to hate Harry for her father misdeeds, so he is reluctant with abandoning his opinions about Harry. I doubt he will be able to discover all the abuse without Harry's help. And with how scared and wary Harry is of Severus I don't see her opening up any time soon... but I do hope I'm wrong.
It was very satisfying to see Severus punching Vernon. Serves him right. It's sad that Harry misinterprets Severus' intentions but with how Severus has treated her so far it is a quite understandable reaction.
Maybe sharing her dream with Severus will help to close the gap between them. After all, Severus hates James and now Harry has a reason to be disgusted by her 'father' as well for how he trated her mother.
Looking forward to the next chapter. Thank you for sharing this fanfiction and your hard work.
God, I can't wait for all the father/daughter feels.
