Gah!! What a cruel cliffhanger!
And what a cruel thing for Harry. His mother, that he was kept from his entire life, is now gone. I feel Harry's grief and rage and bitterness. And his loss. Its just such a tragedy.
What on earth is Aoife still doing there? Didn't the investigation reveal her crimes towards Harry? Wasn't the entire point of the investigation to find out how Harry was cursed? Did they just ignore that or give up when the answer wasn't immediately available?
What made Harry go to McG's office?
Please, I'm begging here. What did the investigation consist of and what was found?
Surely Harry can't remain in Snape's dubious care without the link of Lily? Right?

Author's Response: Hi! I can understand you might be confused. There has at this point in been no investigation - that was what McG wanted to do. She wanted to report it to the Ministry so they could start a legal investigation but Dumbledore hushed her up by letting her interrogate Snape and seeing that it was not him. What she did see what Snape did do and so she began a plan on her own and while Harry did notice it has not yet been revealed. The adults still don't suspect Aoife

Oh, I loved, loved, loved it! This is back to the same standard that the first chapters were, and with that on the edge of your seat type of feels.
I'm sad for Harry that Lily died, but at the same time it just created that extra push, hopefully for Severus and Harry to be closer, and I am glad you made that choice. You are also doing a great job of making Severus more human and describing his sorrow.
I can't wait to see what happens next, and I think I'll take one of those cookies now..or maybe 10 lol.
Okay, now I'm shaking. Thanks for continuing this story!

NOOOO!!! Not a cliffhanger! WHY must you do this to me? But, really this chapter was phenomenal. I cried right along with Harry and the ending left me on the edge of my seat about to lose my sh*t. Well done! :)
