Dumbledore seemed especially lacking in emotional savvy in his words to Harry. I loved the sardonic wit with which Severus read the first year essays. That was a terrific scene!
I can relate to Snape with regard to reading student papers, "'The properties of water in potion,' Snape droned, “are to add water to the potion.” Snape paused. 'So very astute, wouldn’t you say, Harry? And you wonder why I call you all dunderheads.'"
If Harry has to go back over the summer, even if it is just the two weeks, that could set this whole healing process back to the beginning. And if the magical world isn't going to do anything, the therapists are legally obligated to send in a report about the 'suspected' abuse.

Love Covey and I'm so glad she is having quality time with Sev!
I enjoyed the scene with Snape reading the essays to Harry. No wonder Severus refers to the students as dunderheads. I was laughing at them, too.
